Mission
To provide modest and
attractive clothing
for women and girls at reasonable prices. With home sewing, you can have quality clothing
with the fabric of your choice.
How it works
You simply browse through the website and
find the item you wish to have sewn. Then you contact me with the
necessary information (see
Ordering
Information). The yardage
requirements necessary for the item you would like sewn and also the
notions needed will be calculated. You will then be contacted with this information.
*Note: Before
sending me your fabric, it must be pre-shrunk (i.e. washed and dried
on a normal setting) except for fabrics that require dry-cleaning. You
can send me these kind of fabrics as they are.
Garments that are to be made out of fabrics having plaid or
stripe prints will require more fabric yardage and will have an
additional sewing charge.
Our
Policy
All clothing will be sewn in a timely manner. Single orders will
normally be completed in 2 - 4 weeks. All seams will be neatly
finished with an overlock serger. Great care is taken to make sure
your garment is sewn at the highest quality possible
If you would like something sewn that is not
on this website, I
would be happy to sew it for you. However, in a desire to sew only
modest clothing, I choose to not sew any clothing that is low-cut,
tight-fitting, or that shows the midriff. I also do not sew
slacks, outer garments with sheer fabrics, or clothing out of
holiday prints, i.e. Halloween, Christmas, Easter, etc. However,
seasonal prints (Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer) would be fine. Thank you for your cooperation!
All hemlines are placed at a modest length at the base of the calf
or longer.
Pricing
All prices on the website do not include
the cost of the notions or the fabric - these are provided by the
purchaser. The options may also have a small
additional charge (see
Special
Options Price List).
Our
Guarantee
All garments are sewn with much care.
Should any problem occur due to the quality of the sewing such as a
seam that separates or a button that comes off, it will be repaired
free of charge. If you are not completely pleased with your garment,
please let me know and I will work with you to make it right. I
desire that you be pleased with your garment(s).
Shipping
Actual shipping and packaging
cost will be added to the total garment construction cost.
*After
your garment(s) is completed, you will be sent an invoice. Full
payment needs to be received by me before your finished garment is
sent to you.*
